Minister Sandra E. Forbes, is a native of Hartford, Connecticut; she was born on January 28th, to Delores E. and Robert Daniel Franklin. She is married to the Pastor Roland P. Forbes, Jr., and they are the proud parents of six lovely children, Jermaine, LaTasha, Devon, Jonathan, LaToya, and Sheanna; they also have seven wonderful grandchildren.
Minister Forbes felt the call of God on her life at an early age and was baptized at the ages of 9, at the Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, in Hartford, Connecticut under the leadership of the late Reverend Doctor David Samuel Craig. In 1990 God called her husband, Reverend Roland P. Forbes, Jr. to move his family to Lancaster, Pennsylvania to allow him to become the Senior Pastor of the Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Being lead by God in 1992 Minister Forbes begin to lead an outreach ministry of the church to feed homeless persons at the Crispus Attucks Community Center in Lancaster. This ministry continued for 16 years until the homeless program was removed from the center than God expanded the outreach ministry to feed persons at both The Mix at Arbor Place for youth and Transitional Living Center for families. With a desire to empower the community for successful living in 2008 Minister Forbes started a clothing and household supplies bank where persons can retrieve supplies free of charge.
On July 8, 2001 Minister Forbes preached her initial sermon at the Baptist Church in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, under the leadership of her husband and partner in life and ministry Pastor Roland P. Forbes, Jr.
Minister Forbes is a active in the community where she has been recognized for our outstanding ministry to countless persons.
Minister Sandra E. Forbes is true leading lady setting an example of a wife, mother, grandmother, preacher, teacher and blessed highly anointed woman of God. Minister Forbes greatest joy is sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with the world; she sees her ministry as a joint ministry between her loving husband and best-friend, Pastor Roland P. Forbes, Jr., and herself.
